Hawaii Day 8

Today was a fantastic day from beginning to end.  We absolutely love having Daddy home with us for many reasons.

This morning after Caden's nap we all got ready and headed out to the Lagoon for a swim.  Daddy and Caden did a lot of swimming and Mi-Mi and Mommy did a lot of laying in the sun.

These two could be heard giggling and goofing around half way across the Lagoon.  It was really cute!

We tried to put him on the towel, but he had no rest until he was sitting smack dab in the middle of the sand.

Dirty boy needed washed off before they headed over to the pool.

Heading back for lunch and a nappy.

That is quite the fake smile if you've ever seen one from me.  Feeding Caden has become more and more difficult while we are away.  He has been requiring the TV to be on Wonder Pets or Elmo while he eats.  We would totally be against this when we are at home, but it seems there are no rules on vacation.  Survival and maintaining our sanity are all that matters.  In the meantime we've save a gazillion Wonder Pets.  You think I'm kidding?  Here are a few: We've saved The Bengal Tiger, gecko, unicorn, glo-worm, gosling, sea turtle, dolphin.. just to name a few.

Daddy was watching Caden so Mommy could eat lunch.  He's definitely NOT reading In-Touch and ignoring Caden.

Too Funny!

This afternoon we had a fun surprise of SKYPING with Ma-Ma and Pop-Pop.  It was so great to hear your voices and see how excited Caden was to see you two.  He was very intrigued by the whole concept and kept looking behind the computer to try and find Ma-Ma and Pop Pop.  Immediately after we hung up Caden (and Mommy and Daddy) crashed out for 2 hours.

Cuddling with Mi Mi after his nap.

Watch out... Caden now gives kisses with his mouth open and if you're not paying attention will take a nice bite out of your nose.

Funny Boy!

This is a gorgeous mural in our hotel lobby.  It is absolutely enormous and Caden loved it.  He wouldn't even look away for a picture.

Right behind the mural is this fantastic fountain.  This place is very cool.

Trying out his new Crocs in the lobby.  He's looking WAY  too much like a big boy for my liking.

And.. trying out his new crocs in the village.

Lost a Croc!

Ok.. we'll try again.

Alright.. we'll do it barefoot!

After these pictures Daddy and Caden went to the beach to watch the sunset before heading back to the hotel for bedtime.  Mommy and Mi-Mi had a marathon shopping session.  These little shops and boutiques are quite hard to look around in when you have a big stroller and an impatient boy.  Thank you Ed for letting me lay on the beach today and shop alone tonight.  Those two things are all I've wanted to do for the past week.  You've made my vacation!

SIDE NOTE:  Caden would like to wish his Cousin Hunter good luck on his first day of Kindergarten tomorrow morning.  We know you are going to love school and do an awesome job.  We can't wait to hear all about it!
We love you Hunter!
