Hawaii Day 5

FINALLY.. Caden seems to be adjusted to the time difference and despite going to bed before 6 last night, slept until 5am this morning.  We pulled him into bed with us and started to give him a bottle with all signs pointing to Caden going back out and gracing us with a few more precious minutes of sleep, only to remember that Ed had to be up early.  Ed was out the door at 6am and waited at the corner for his ride to pick him up, but unfortunately he got the call that they didn't need to go in early a little late.   Poor Ed had to sit at the bus stop for 45+ minutes this morning.  Not a good way to start the day.

Just a normal picture of the area right?

NOPE.. that would be Daddy stuck at the bust stop for almost an hour.

It's going to be a long day, but that boy is so damn cute I love every minute of it!

So as I mentioned before there are some days I love Caden just a little bit more than others.  Today was definitely one of those days.  He took a 3 hour nap this morning and a 2 hour nap this afternoon.  It goes without saying that Mommy also napped 3 hours this morning and 2 hours this afternoon.

After the nap we went swimming today.  Here is Caden hanging out in his stroller and chomping on the puffs lid waiting for Mi-Mi to get done shopping before we went back to the room for lunch.

You couldn't tell this poor little boy is cutting a tooth could you?  The tooth has made its way through the gum, but the gum is still all red and swollen.  Poor boy.

Waiting for Mi-Mi and being as cute as ever if you ask me.

Then it was time for a little fun before lunch.  That is his sponge that he lays on to get a bath if you were wondering.  It makes an excellent toy as well.

Seriously... I could eat him up!

This better be an outake with the pictures and not Caden already rolling his eyes at his Mommy.  It wouldn't surprise  me though if he inherited this from me.  I think I was the queen of eye rolling growing up.

Trying to pull himself up to a standing position on everything, including Mommy.  Sorry Aunt Susan.. you're going to have your hands full when we get home.

Trying to steal Mommy's nose.

Making our own fun.  Can you tell we've been in a hotel room for almost a week, and we have a week to go!!

After the Mommy gymnastics we went to Mi-Mi gymnastics.

In
to
everything!!

Aunt Susan this is for you.. this is Caden at dinner tonight doing
"How big is Caden?"  Sooooo big!!

And what is a trip to Hawaii without a Hawaiian pizza?  It was just as delicious as it looks.

Hawaii Day 5= Today was a tough day for Mommy, Daddy and Mi=Mi.  We all individually realized that our little baby boy isn't really a baby anymore, but more of a big boy.  He is doing so many big boy things like talking more, pulling himself up, crawling over to you and expressing what he wants more and more each day.  This just really isn't going to work.  We need to find a way to freeze time and not allow my precious little baby to get any bigger.  Booo-hooo... even Hawaii can't make this better.  :(

  1. Caden, PLEASE STOP GROWING!!!!! I know how babies roll, and unfortunatly they do not stop the wheels of progress just to appease the adults in their life. If that were the case the boy would not do anything differently in two weeks that he did prior to not being right next door to see!!! Which was why I was distressed when he left! I miss you all, and Ed made me sad at the bustop, but only for one MINUTE! If you have to be stuck waiting for a bus to go to work, please let it be in Hawaii. AMEN.. love you
