Thanks for coming to visit!!
Saturday afternoon we went to one of our favorite Italian Ice places, Strollos. Their ice is out of this world, but unfortunately the place is only open during the summer so we have to get our fill while we can. Even though it was rainy, we still went and hung out in Mommy's new GMC Acadia (I am obsessed and in love with this car). It has a middle row of bucket seats and a third row in the back. All three of us hung out in the back and Caden ran all over stealing bites of ice and dancing to the radio. It was a pretty charmed half an hour.
Then today we woke up slow and just hung out in bed for an entire hour cuddling, laughing and watching TV. Sometimes life goes so fast you don't get to enjoy these simple times, but luckily today we were able to relax and soak it all in. After breakfast we headed to the beach for a quick walk on the boardwalk. It was a bit chilly and misty, but that was nothing compared to the rainstorm we got stuck in halfway through the walk. We put a coat over the front of Caden's stroller and he had a nice and dry little fort to ride in. He kept peeking through the little plastic window in the stroller and giggling at us as we were getting soaked.
The afternoon included a trip to the park, some fun times in the back yard followed by a quick tubby and then bed. These days of just the three of us are few and far between. Soon we will be worried about feedings throughout both the day and night, changing diapers a million times a day, and all the worries that come with having a new little one in the house. As excited as we are for our second little guy's arrival, we are just trying to hold onto these days of just the three of us!
Here is Ed with Wyatt and Caden. His face shows you how prepared we are to deal with two boys!!
This is one of Ed's classic self portraits.
Wyatt was fast asleep and of course the flash woke him up.
Way to go Ed!
Ok can you please make note of the adorably chubby little arms. I could stare at them all day long. Such a little sweetie.
Here is a shot of Caden from tonight when Ed and I ate dinner. He was so tired that he just stood at the fence and watched Wonder Pets. He didn't say a word or play, he just stood there.
Then he was just too tired to stand any longer, so he headed to the couch and relaxed while we finished dinner. (Please note.. dinner doesn't always go this well.)
Thank you for the very kind words! You are too sweet. We were very excited to come see you, Ed and Caden. Caden is a love and so dreamy cute. Thanks for a great day and for being so awesome to Wyatt. Love you tons.
