Swinging the day away

Yesterday we finally were blessed with beautiful weather and even better, the delivery of our long awaited baby swing.  Caden and I tried it out first in the late afternoon after he continually refused to take a nap for three hours, and then he and Ed tried it out again after dinner.  He of course was a little cautious at first, which is exactly what I would expect out of him but as the night went on he seemed to relax and giggle more and more.

Daddy is having fun pushing while Della watches so sweetly.

Then it looks like Daddy is getting a bit bored.  Please note he's only been out there around 4 minutes.

Then, in true Ed fashion, he found a more "unique" way to swing Caden.
Nothing can be normal or simple when Ed is involved.  Always finding a new or different way to do things.

At this point Caden was getting a bit fussy, but we were still clueless at this point and couldn't figure out what was wrong.
Kisses from Anna = an even grumpier boy.

Check out those new sneakers.. see anything wrong with this picture?

Again, note the sneakers. We still had no idea what was wrong.

He kept yelling, "Ma Ma," but I had no idea what was wrong until I looked down and saw that his shoes were on the wrong feet.
We were laughing so hard at this point that we both had tears running down our cheeks.  Ed told me it made him dizzy just to look at the shoes.  We quickly switched his shoes and he was a much happier boy.
(Just for the record... Ed put his shoes on last night.)
