I HATE sick kids!!

Maybe I should clarify the title of this blog.. I hate when MY kid is sick!!  It turns out the projectile vomiting and fever from yesterday were not just a fluke but an indication of what was to come.  Caden had another rough night last night and ended up throwing up all over Ed at 3am.  I must admit I'm chuckling to myself while writing this, only because it was only water (I know TMI) and it all turned out to be ok.  Ed was rocking him in his room when he started to get sick.  I could hear it all and Ed running to our room in his bathrobe saying, "Ok buddy, ok, ok.. umm whoa, ok buddy."  Just makes me laugh.
Caden and Ed once again ended up camping out on the nursery floor together.  Ed also admitted tonight he actually likes to sleep over there with Caden because they cuddle and he gets him all to himself and doesn't have to share him with me.  Although I am a bit jealous my large, pregnant body quickly forgets about the jealousy in order to sleep comfortably in our big bed.

Caden struggled through the day attempting to carry on as usual, but it was obvious he didn't feel well.  He still went for a walk with Aunt Susan and Uncle Darryl, napped, played outside, watched Wonder Pets, and played with Play Dough.  Here are some pictures from our late afternoon Wonder Pets session.  You can see it in his eyes that he doesn't feel well.

Here's to hoping we have a happier, fever free, snot free boy in the morning.  Ed and I both agree there is nothing more heartbreaking or pathetic than our little man when he isnt' feeling well.

Look at that crazy hair.  It has a mind of its own these days.
Get better buddy.. we love you soo much!!

Just remembered... today at nap time I asked him again if he knew where the baby was.  He pointed to my belly, then kissed it, patted it and laid his head down on my belly.  How in the world does he know to do all of this and is there any way he could be any sweeter.  This little brother of his is one lucky guy!!
