This year we had a great time again, and it was amazing to see what a difference a year makes. Caden actually realized what was going on and was so excited to see all the trucks. He wasn't intimidated by the loud horns or the sirens, and talked about all the trucks, bulldozers, and race cars all day long. Jackson was his usual self, completely chill and just taking everything in from his seat in the stroller.
May I also add that we were there for less than an hour. We saw a million trucks and took a million and one pictures in less than 60 minutes. If you ask me, that's the best way to go to Touch a Truck. :)
This was an old antique bus that Caden and I went on. It was the first bus he was ever on and lets say he was a bit more intrigued by the trucks than the bus.
Please note like last year that the bus is completely suspended on its side and held in the air by the cranes.
In the back of the police car again this year.
Then when we got home Uncle JT was here from Pennsylvania to help us pour a slab of concrete. The boys worked hard all afternoon and Caden loved every single second of it.
Instead of the stroller our smiley guy hung out in the swing this time.
I don't know if you can tell, but Caden has a big, gross worm in his hands. His Daddy was so sweet and gave it to him to play with (yuck). I guess with two little boys and a big one in the house I should get used to stuff like worms being around more often. He did try to put it in his pocket, but luckily it was buttoned and he couldn't get the worm in there.
Thank you JT for driving down to spend the weekend with us and all of your hard work. We our lucky to have you in our lives, and as Caden says "Uncle JT is the BEST EVER!"
