Relaxing Weekend at Home

This weekend we did a whole lot of nothing and loved every second of it.  Our friends Katie, Eric, and their adorable son Kevin came over yesterday, but unfortunately I wasn't on my game and forgot to take pictures. Uncle D and Aunt Susan came over to play last night and again.. I forgot to take pictures.
Today Ed and Caden worked on his truck, we ate cookies (and cried while eating cookies), we danced to music, bounced on exercise balls, took tubbies, read stories, took naps, and just had a great weekend at home.  The rainy day today made it an all around perfect, lazy Sunday.

The boys are starting to entertain themselves and play together.  Hallelujah!!!

I am sooooo mad this picture came out blurry.  This picture is such a clear representation of how excited Caden was to be in the garage helping Ed work.  Nothing is more exciting for this little guy that working with his Daddy and being surrounded by tools.

Then we came inside for a cookie break.  It all started out well and then went downhill quickly.

Losing it a little bit.....
 But then bringing it back

 And losing it for good!!!!

And while all of this is happening our sweet Jackson just rolled around the playroom and kept himself content.
When this little boy smiles his entire face lights up.

Then tonight before dinner it was time for a little crazy fun in the playroom.

Then of course it was time for cocktails.  Caden INSISTED that he have a drink too.  He and Ed were making toasts and clinking their glasses and saying cheers over and over again.

Ed toasted to lazy Sunday afternoons at home.
Caden toasted to toast.  Too funny!

Then it was time to give Mommy a heart attack.

There are plenty of fun videos from this weekend that I will do my best to post tomorrow.
Also.. we re-introduced wheat to Jackson this weekend by giving him 2tsp. of Oatmeal.  Fingers crossed, but it looks like there is no reaction.  It would be such an amazing day in our household if he could actually eat whatever he wanted without us having to study the ingredients like it's our job.
