Sunday Funday with the Lashers

Once again our favorites, The Lasher Family, came for the Eagles game.  Caden and I have been talking about their visit all week.  He was very excited to see them and had a blast all day long.  Truth be told Ed and I had a blast too!!

We were seriously up and ready for the Lasher's by 9am this morning.  We killed a little time with some cool Winter hats and one of Caden's old toys we got out for Jackson.  Turns out Jackson's a little too small and um... Caden was just a bit too big.

Then they arrived and the fun began.  In additional to his normal jersey, ipad, iphone, and newspaper... Jim was also rockin' the hoodie today.
Brady and Caden decided to serenade us.  Look at the smiles on those boy's faces.  They had so much fun.

Sweet Harper just keeping herself content cruising around the house.
Don't let Jim fool you with that stoic demeanor.. he's really a softy when it comes to babies.

Ed... where are you kids?  Oh that's right.. Jim's watching them for you.

Harper was very intrigued by little Jackson.  She was so sweet with him too.

Then it was time for a little backyard football at half time.
We were losing Caden at this point due to the onset of a little exhaustion, so Ed had to hold him most of the time.

Then Lauren had a great idea of getting all four kids in a shot with their Jackson jersey's on.  At this point they were all pretty tired, but I must say they were troopers.

We told Caden to give Harper a kiss on the cheek and he got confused and tried to kiss Brady.  It makes me laugh so hard everytime I look at the picture.

 The Boys!!

 Neighborly love ....

Aunt Susan and her biggest boy!
 Momma and her girl
Jim and is love.. I mean his iphone. :)

Caden was literally falling asleep at this point and we still didn't really notice.

When the Lashers left Caden walked out and tried to get into his high chair, which means he's hungry. Mind you.. this was at 4:45.  We got some yogurt and some cheese puffs in him before he started going down hill.  As he was eating his banana he literally fell asleep chewing.  Aunt Susan and I were talking to him and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't keep his eyes open.  He's been asleep since 5pm, so it should be interesting to see how the rest of the night goes.

One a side note.. I'm writing this blog from bed and all the boys are asleep.  Jackson just woke up in his crib which usually means Ed goes over and re-swaddles him and puts the pacifier back in.  When I woke Ed up and told him Jackson was awake his groggy response to me was,,,, "Wait.. what does it need?"  To which I replied... "It... meaning your son... needs re0swaddled."  Thanks to the Lashers for wearing my boys out.  You are welcome to come back any time!!!
