Caden's Christmas

We had a wonderful first Christmas with Caden this year.  We stayed in Jersey to wake up in our own house on Christmas morning, then headed home to PA to spend time with our family and friends. Caden got the chance to meet many new people and was a stud of a traveler.  He slept the whole time both to and from PA without making a peep.  We couldn't have asked for anything more.  Here are a few pics from our first Christmas with Caden.

Christmas morning skyping with our families back home.

Three stockings instead of two this year!!

Santa came a little early to our house and dropped this present under the tree for us.

One of our favorite presents.. adorable blue boots from Aunt Susan and Uncle Darryl.

Crashed out in the car... this traveling stuff was easy for Caden.

Meeting my cousin Jess for the first time.

 Kisses from Graci.

Excited to see his Maw-Maw and Aunt Nicki

Hanging with Hunter.

Meeting Uncle Mike for the first time.  He looked so small in his arms.

Uncle Eddie and Graci

Dylan opening his presents.

Waking up at Mi-Mi and Pa-Pa's house.  They were so kind to put up with crying in the middle of the night, and even lied to us and told us they couldn't hear it to make us feel better.
(You guys can admit it now.. we know you heard us :)

Back home hanging out with Daddy.. who can make his laugh all the time. (Can you sense my jealousy?)

That's right he's a Mommy's boy!!

Notice how Anna is very concerned about what I'm doing to her Caden.

We are die hard believers in the swaddle.  Ed is amazing at wrapping him up and can quiet him down on cue.  (Again.. can you sense my jealousy?)

The swaddle works again.

Crashed out with Daddy on the couch.

And... crashed out with Mommy.  These holidays are really tiring for a One month old.

  2. Jamie is right...there's something special about a boy and his mama!
You look beautiful Jenny! Still a little embarrassed to admit that it took me a lot longer than 1 month to routinely brush my teeth, shower, get out of my jammies or look anything close to resembling someone who should have her pic taken.
Sorry they cancelled the Beaver party...any chance you'll be in this weekend?
