Friday night we had our second annual Christmas Eve party. Our awesome neighbors once again joined us for this crazy night. We had some of the food planned, but threw together other things at the last minute. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but it ended up being one of the best nights ever. We had great food, great company and of course some yummy drinks.
Everyone all dressed up for our big night.
This is Caden's new face when he doesn't want to do something. He breaks it out a lot when I'm trying to get him to eat something he doesn't want to, or when I want to take his picture. It cracks me up!
My boys!!
Poodie is here to help with our little, neglected Jackson!
One of Caden's favorite, Tay Tay is home from college. We were so excited she wanted to spend the evening with us.
Look at Caden's hands. He kept trying to put them in his pockets. So cute!!
Caden absolutely LOVED his bowling set.
About half way through the evening Caden took a spill and fell on the floor after chasing Tay Tay, which resulted in him in tears, sweaty and stripped down to his diaper and socks. He recovered in about 10 seconds and was back up running around again.
(Please note the bottle of scotch and the sippy cup in the background.)
Caden's other favorite, Zach lets him do whatever he wants.. including climbing into the fridge.
Skating on bricks and having fun with Uncle D of course.
Then it was jammie and cuddle time on the couch. Caden imitated every little thing that Zach did. Zach put a pillow on his lap, so Caden put a pillow on his lap. Zach started tapping his hands and Caden did too.
Adorable!!
Caden kept pointing to Taylor's nose ring and saying "boo boo" over and over again. He seriously would not let it go.
What kids do you know that are in their 20's and are willing to spend their Friday night with their neighbor's kids? We are so incredibly lucky to have such great friends next door.
THEN... It was time to get ready for the morning... oh what fun this was! Thanks Darryl and Susan.. we couldn't have done it without you!
CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!
Our friends The St. Peters sent the boys this AWESOME roller coaster. Caden must have gone down it over 100 times. It's awesome!!
Jackson enjoying a bottle in his new bouncy seat.
The aftermath....
Please note the LARGE slippers!!
