Once again this year Mi Mi and Paw Paw came to visit for a fun December weekend. We had lots of fun getting ready for Christmas and of course celebrating Paw Paw's Birthday. Thank you so much for coming, thank you for the help, and most importantly thank you for the well needed naps we were able to take. We miss you already.. we can't wait to see you in a few weeks.
Caden just HAD to help Mi Mi sweep the steps. That is his "play" dust buster/sweeper he got for his Birthday. Please don't tell him it's just pretend. He's convinced he's really helping.

Last night we celebrated my Dad's Birthday. It's not until the 14th, but since we won't see him we sang, opened presents, and devoured some delicious peanut butter ice cream cake a few days early.

Umm Dad... come on... we are starving!!We didn't realize that ice cream cakes need to be taken out of the freezer 15-20 minutes before you want to eat it. Ooops!!

I think Caden consumed more sugar last night than he has in his previous two years of life combined. Ice cream cake and an entire box of chocolates. Paw Paw's Birthday is going to be his favorite time of year.
