We started with a clothespin activity. We tried to put the clothespins on the side of the bowl, but his chubby little fingers made it a bit hard and frustrating for the little guy.
Then we moved to window clings to learn our Colors. He LOVED these!!
Then we explored the art of Crying. The boys were very willing to help with this activity!
We counted Coins.
Hung our C card on the clothesline and of course jumped on our giant C on the floor.
We made a cardboard caterpillar. I had planned on painting this little critter, but Caden's grumpy mood made me choose markers instead and I'm glad that I did because half way through he threw the markers across the kitchen.
Later that afternoon he revisited the window clings.
At the end of the afternoon, and onto outfit number 3 of the day, we went outside to do sidewalk Chalk.
We brought a little someone with us to keep us company.
Then, out of no where he came over to check on Jackson.
He sprinted away and came back two seconds later..
And brought back some chalk for Jackson and put it beside him in the chair.
This was the first time he shared with his brother, and it seriously melted my heart. I almost cried on that porch all by myself. I cannot wait for these two boys to grow up together.Shared purple chalk... so sweet and definitely the best part of C day!!
