As mentioned in the previous blog yesterday was a rough day... new shoes in the water, splashing in the toilet bowl, biting mom.. enough said! Along with all of those trying events he was very cute and sweet with the dogs.
He can be nice to the dogs even if he's mean to his Mommy!
This is what the playroom looked like by 9:30 in the morning.
Then he demanded to be changed into his rash guard and swimming trunks. I think he was trying to tell me he wanted to go outside to play in his pool, but I was too thick headed to figure that out.

Then, as if a grey cloud was lifted and the sun came shining through our rough cloudy day, Daddy arrived home and all was well in this little guy's world.
Daddy's Birthday is next week and his new desk chair came early. My two handi-men got right to work putting it together.
Caden was a huge help.... ha! I couldn't help but laugh as Ed struggled to work around Caden and he just jabbered away as his Daddy worked.
Moral of the story... Daddy is tons of fun and days at home with a tired pregnant Mommy can be trying for all involved. No worries though... Baby Slatt will be here soon and not only do we get Daddy to stay home with us for a few days, but Mommy will actually be able to move again and will be back to her normal self. Hang in there buddy.. the countdown is on.
