This year was the firs time that we were surrounded by our family and friends for Halloween. We started the week by attending the annual Halloween parade in town that Ed and I grew up going to. Hunter and Graci were there to help Caden understand how to run out and get the candy. The boys came home with new light up swords that make music and lots of candy. It was a great time and a tradition that I'm sure we will continue for years to come.
Tonight we continued Halloween by meeting our friends and family again to go Trick or Treating. This is the first year that Ed was able to come with us. Last year trick or treat was cancelled in New Jersey due to Hurricane Sandy, so there really was no trick or treating.
Hunter and Graci were so kind and helped Caden understand how it all worked, and Jackson was very patient and just hung out for most of the night in the wagon. We had a 65 degree night, lots of candy, and tired boys. I cannot think of a more perfect Halloween night!
Hunter was such a great big cousin and helper.
We stopped at my Aunt and Uncles at the end of the night and they spoiled the boys with huge bags of candy, popcorn, cookies, and cake!! Sugar, sugar, and more sugar!!
