We waited, and waited, and waited and it has finally happened. Caden is talking non-stop!! The things that are coming out of his mouth these days are hilarious and Ed and I literally have to walk away or choke back laughter constantly because some of the things are just not appropriate.. but hilarious!
Here are a few...
Tonight Ed called to check in (he's away on business). Ed asked to talk to Caden and he very forcefully stated, "Not Talking."
Everything has a time..
It's TV Time
Milky Time
Tubby Time
We haven't had much success with naptime lately. I've been laying with Caden where he talks non-stop and will pat you on the back, then point out your eyes, ears, lips, hair, etc. I of course tell him to lay down and he scrunches his eyes closed and says, "Otay Mommy.. night, night."
We took the Bounce House down the other day because he was quickly deflating and had been up since Christmas. Either the child has terrible ADD, no short term memory or he was in denial. For two straight days he said, "Urry up.. bounce house." Umm.. it's not there anymore buddy. Sorry
Caden constantly wants to know where people are. My Dad was here last week for the entire week and headed back to PA this weekend. We have heard a million and one times.. "Ere Paw Paw Go?"
I was changing Jackson's diaper and I was blocking Caden's view and he screamed at me "Watching TV, Mommy." Well.. excuse me you sassy little boy.
Caden has developed this habit of screaming "NO MOMMY NO." Ed taught him this awhile ago and a joke and it stuck. (Thanks Ed) He will scream it throughout his day when anything goes wrong. I won't even be in the same room and he'll be screaming it.
We were leaving the pizza place after the aquarium on Saturday and he turns around and waves and yells. "Bye People."
After the aquarium that night he kept saying. "where the animals go?" "Where the animals go?" Umm we can't bring them home with us buddy. Sorry
Ed went into the bathroom the other day, and I'm not even sure what he was doing. Brushing his teeth or shower.. not going to the bathroom. Caden kept saying "Uh-oh stinky poopy." "Daddy stinky." I lost it.
Finally.. After a long battle of once again trying to get him to sleep yesterday I was about to pin him down and just hold him there till he fell asleep when he started yelling at the top of his lungs, "GOOOO EAGLES" over and over again. Then "Go Football" "Touchdown" "Go" "Go" "Go." At least he has some interest in sports, but he's just a bit confused about who was playing in the Superbowl.
