Jacksonisms

It's that time.. time to hear all about Jackson.  Actually it's probably long overdue as he is a moving and grooving crazy little boy.

He now has a few more words.  He is saying:
Da-Da
Della
Cock a doodle doo (in his own way)
Uh-Oh
Des (for yes)
and EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH for No

Although Jackson doesn't have too many words in his vocabulary; he still gets his point across quite easily.

Jackson is VERY strong willed, wants to do everything on his own, and has a temper like I've never seen before.

He loves to talk on the phone.  This week I took the phone from him to continue my conversation with my sister, and he went to my room, picked up a high heel and came and threw it at me.  He also throws toys, sippy cups, shoes, and my favorite is when he throws his head back towards you in a reverse head butt.

He digs everything out of the garbage and throws everything away.  We find sippy cups in the garbage constantly, and the other day he walked to the living room with an open can of corn I had thrown away.

Jackson loves to brush his teeth and can be found walking around anytime of the day with a toothbrush in his hand.  Ed found him tonight and took the toothbrush away only for him to swing his other hand around where he had a second toothbrush.

When Jackson is done eating you have about two seconds to clear his tray before he starts throwing his food across the room. Recently he has thrown food and a fork directly at Ed's dad during a nice dinner.

He loves to get what he wants when he wants it.  He will pull a kitchen chair over to the counters and crawl up.  This becomes a real problem when he wants to crawl up while the stove/oven is on.

Jackson loves and hates trains.  I know this sounds bizarre.  He loves to play with his train table and watch Thomas the Train, but the train whistles that blow in the middle of the night scare him to death.  He wakes up shaking multiple times throughout the night, and we have to go in and comfort him.

For Mother's Day Jackson lovingly handed me a hand full of  dog poop.  It's the thought that counts, right?

Most importantly.. Jackson has become more cuddly.  This has been a long time coming, but he finally will sit on your lap, read a book with you, watch a show, or nuzzle his head into you before bed.

The other thing that blows our mind is that Jackson's age right now is how old Caden was when we welcomed Jackson into our lives.  CRAZY!!!

Love this crazy, wild, chubby, little guy!
