This past weekend we finally made it to the Safari at Six Flags. This is the first time that we've ever been there and we absolutely loved it!! Luckily we slipped in right before they shut it down for a year to renovate, but we cannot wait to go back.
Look how close the rhino was to all the cars. It was unreal!!
If you look up at the cars ahead of us you can see the giraffes just making their way through traffic.
This is what we could see for most of the time when the giraffes were walking past unless they would lean down. It's simply amazing how big they are!!
For a little guy who is completely obsessed with animals, this was, as he would say, "the best day ever!!"
That bear was seriously the cutest!
There was a guided tour vehicle that pulled up in front of us and were throwing oranges to the bears. We were amazed that they lined up like this and waited for the food in such an organized way. They never fought or got in front of each other for the food. We sat for the longest time and watched them.
It was a great trip and one that I don't think this little guy will stop talking about for a long, long time.!!
