Face Plant

Yesterday was a good day.  Despite the fact that it rained all day we relaxed at home, stayed in our jammies all day, negotiated the sale of our house with our realtor, had successful naps, and had a great day.

Today however, didn't go so smoothly.  We started the day out ok, but Jackson decided to turn my coffee cup upside down and dump it all over our cream carpeting.  This resulted in a quick trip to Target to get carpet cleaner.  As we were getting out of the car at Target I looked, and smelled Jackson only to realize he had also dumped the coffee all over his pants.  Oh well.. we just rolled with it.
When we got home I walked in the house to see that the dogs had eaten an entire Lemon Meringue pie including the metal pie pan.  After cleaning up the pie and cleaning up the coffee spill on the floor we headed outside to play.  That is when it all went downhill.

Dylan and Jackson were playing very nicely with a basketball when Jackson went to run after it.  He tripped over his shoes and in slow motion, his hands were tucked underneath him and he landed right on his face.  Actually he landed on his lips and his nose.  After blood, tears, and some popsicles we had a restful afternoon and a low key night.

On a positive note... we are in Attorney Review for our house and have an actual closing date. Then end is in sight!!
