http://www.littlecadenslife.blogspot.com/2011/05/mothers-day.html , but this year more than exceeded my expectations.
THIS YEAR......
Ed and the boys surprised me with a new iphone and a gorgeous new coral leather COACH purse. The boys gave me the sweetest card, and Ed wrote me the nicest message as well. Then we headed to Pennsylvania for the weekend where we had a great Mother's Day lunch with Ed's family on Saturday. It was beautiful outside, and we sat around the pool, watched the kids play and just celebrated all of the moms in the family. Today we had a great Mother's Day breakfast at my parents before getting on the road to head back to New Jersey. The most fabulous part of the weekend was sleeping in until 9am this morning. It was the best Mother's Day yet!!
LOOKING BACK.......
Since last year we have been blessed with a new addition to our family, our sweet Jackson, we have watched Caden grow into an incredible little boy, and since last year I have realized even more that I am so blessed to be the Mommy two these to little boys.
Being a Mommy is without a doubt the hardest job I have ever hard, but it also the most rewarding too. The smiles that I get when I walk in to get the boys out of their cribs, the kisses from Caden, the sweet touch of Jackson's chubby little hands on my face, the snuggles from Caden and the way he tells me "I uve you to the moon and back" and of course Jackson's sweet belly laughs are what makes me count my blessings each and everyday.
THANKFUL.....
I would be remiss if I did not mention all of the amazing mother's in our lives.
My incredible mother is such a huge help to our family. She is always there for us and willing to help us out whenever and wherever we need her. We are so lucky to have her...Love you Mi Mi
My mother in law is such a kind hearted. laid back woman who raised four incredible children and can handle a house full of people with ease. Thank you for being so special to us.. Love you Ma Maw
To our Poodie... You are the boy's second mother and the staple to keeping our family together on a daily basis. You are always so positive, calm, and loving with our boys. Please know how much we love and appreciate all that you do for us
To my incredible sister, my sister in law, my great friends from college who are now incredible mothers as well, and my sister in law who will be a mommy in the next month... Thank you for being great role models, and a great support to me through this crazy thing called "Mommy hood." I couldn't do it without you!!
This is possibly the loveliest tributes to the nurturing spirits of women. I'm not just saying that because you mentioned me. Your entire family as a whole entity, know what the true meaning of life is all about. It's no wonder you are the incredible young mother that you are. I love you all. xoxoxo
