Last week we were spoiled with beautiful weather, and the boys and I took full advantage of it. This was the first time that Jackson came out back to play with us. He absolutely loved it. As you can see it was quite a production lugging all of that stuff out in the yard, long with two boys and the dogs too. I was exhausted before we even started playing.
I mean seriously.. look at that face. He melts my heart with that sweet smile.
There was such a difference from last year to this year with Caden and how he plays outside. He was very busy and had very distinct plans of what he was going to do. First he had to get in the tent, then out, then he needed a snack, then he wanted to take his shoes off. All of this was going on while he was talking non-stop. He made me laugh a million times and I can't wait to see how many more laughs he has in store for us this summer.

The little man was exhausted from all that fresh air and playing outside. Caden was mad that he was asleep and kept yelling "WAKE UP Tassy... I need ya help ova here."

This is Caden's "Don't get that gross cookie too close to me or I'll puke all over the place." and believe me.. he will puke!
It's getting warm out.. Friday night was the perfect time for ice pops. That's a clear indication in our house that summer is right around the corner.

Pop Pop and Ma Maw came to visit this weekend. Here Caden and Pop Pop are working hard to fix Jackson's jumperoo. It wasn't really broken, but in true fashion of all Slatt boys, they had to have a project to work on.
Thank you to Ma Maw and Pop Pop for watching the boys so we could have a night out on the town, and thanks to our awesome neighbors for sharing a great night with us. The morning was a bit rough today, but it was totally worth it!!
Tonight Caden decided he wanted to paint, so we broke out the Toy Story paint by number kit he got at the Dollar store yesterday. Lets just say things got a lot messier than shown in this picture.
Sweet Jackson just hung out in the playroom and ate his teddy bear's tag.
We had a great week, a fun weekend, and we are looking forward to another week of beautiful weather.
