The next few pictures are of my Aunt Liz and Uncle Dave. They come to our house at least twice a week.. yes, I said twice a week just to spend time with our kids. My uncle always walks Della for us, and then he comes back and they do whatever the kids want. They play trains with them, color, read stories, play hide and seek. They are so good to our kids and we are truly thankful to have them in our lives.
The next few pictures are of our annual Gingerbread Houses. Unfortunately it seems like my sister and I enjoy decorating them more than the kids. I think they are just in it for the candy. I can't really blame them.
One of our best buddies, our Paw Paw celebrated his Birthday with us in December. We are thankful for him (and of course my mom too). They take Jackson to school twice a week for us, literally never say no when we ask for help, and are so incredibly giving and patient with our kids. We invade their house for hours on end every other Wednesday when our cleaning lady comes, and never, ever, ever complain. Happy Birthday Paw Paw and thank you for all you do for us.
Please note my child in his underwear, once again!!
Finally, we had Madi and Logan (Uncle Stick and Aunt Pammy too) come to visit us a few times in December. We absolutely love when them stop by. They kids instantly entertain themselves and we actually get to spend time together and catch up. We only wish we could do this more often!!
Finally, one of the huge highlights of December were the fires that we made. When we first bought this house we thought we would instantly replace the wood burning fireplace with a gas insert. Over time we have grown to love this fireplace and it's a fun project for Ed and the boys to build a fire. Ed's parents were so gracious and bought us a cord and a half of wood for Christmas this year. It is without a doubt one of our favorite presents and something that we get to enjoy over and over again. Thank you MaMa and Pop Pop for your awesome gift! We can't wait to have you over so you can enjoy it too!!
