Christmas Eve

For the first time since we've had kids we actually went to Christmas Eve service.  We decided to go where Caden attended last year and Jackson goes this year to pre-school.  We felt the chapel would be familiar to them and we were told the service was very kid friendly.  Overall they boys did a great job, Molly left after about 20 minutes and hung out with Ed in the hallway.  The service was under and hour and we made it. The boys sat the entire time, they sang, they held their candles up to sing Silent Night, so I count that as a success.
Next year we will most likely go with Ed's family to their church to see the live Nativity and let the boys experience this with their cousins.  Regardless I'm just happy we finally got to church with the kids!!!

Our attempts at family pictures are simply laughable!!  Molly's poor tights had so many snags from crawling on the bricks.

Out of focus, everyone is such a hot mess.  Why do we even try??

Mommy and her girl!  You see that strand of gray hair?  It's from this little girl!  You see those wrinkles that weren't there last Christmas?  Those are definitely from this little sass pot!  She keeps me on my toes, drives me insane, is simply exhausting and I love her to pieces.  She is without a doubt the tiny version of me.  She knows where everyone is going throughout the day.  Loves to talk on the phone, play with her purses, put on her bracelets, and wear her sunglasses.  She is sassy and strong willed.  She rules this house and she always knows how to cuddle and get what she wants and make us laugh when she knows she should be in trouble!  We just love her so much!!

After church we always go to Ed's parents for an open house with friends and family.  This is one of our favorite nights of the year.  Then we come back and meet my parents at our house and they stay over.  It's fun to have them here to see the boys open their presents in the morning.

Jackson made reindeer food in school this year.  We ran out right before bed to throw it in the front lawn.  Notice once again that Caden was in his underwear.  Although it was a warm December, it wasn't THIS warm!!

Putting our stockings up!!
This was such a fun year with the kids.  They totally understood everything that was going on and were so excited for Santa to come!!
