Life is Good

There are a lot of things in our life right now causing a lot of stress, but there are a lot of great things going on as well.  We ended the week with the boys having a dance party in the living room, went to a camp out/bonfire where the boys got all sweaty and had a blast, hung on the hammock, rode the tractor, and swam in the pool.  Looking at these pictures just makes me feel like everything is going to work out, and if not at least we will be having fun and getting good tans in the process.

WARNING: Lots of pictures!!

No we did not sleep out.  We were wimps and took the boys home.  We have a few more years before we tackle that adventure.

Look at Jackson's poor knee.  The little guy took at least three falls today.  He skinned his knees up every time.  He would just jump right up with blood running down his legs and keep going .  He's such a toughie!!

This is the boy's new past time.. it is called "hammocking."  Ed will randomly take the boys over to his parents in the mornings on a weekend while they are still in the jammies, in the afternoon to kill some time, or basically any time of the day.  They require some drinks and snacks, but after that they will all stay there the good part of an hour.  They love it.  I love it.  We all love the hammock!!

 LOVE those chubby little fingers.
Jackson has started pointing at everything.  Look at that little finger up and making some type of point.
I always think I can predict how my kids are going to act and they always prove me wrong.  I thought Jackson would love the water and Caden would hate it.  I was completely wrong.  Caden wants to be in with the big kids and really doesn't care how cold it is.  Today he was blue and shivering but refused to get out.  Jackson HATES the water and screams every time we try to put him in.  We got this new floaty for him and after we put it on he took off and literally ran away from the pool  Guess they are reversing roles for the summer.

After a long, sunny swimming session the boys came back and took naps at our house.  They both love when Hunter is here!!
