Ed did very well with presents this year. I got beautiful flowers, three subscriptions to my favorite magazines, an Express sweat suit, and of course the token Dunkin Donuts gift certificate.
Another gift from Ed was putting the swing together. As you can see it started out well and then, his face says it all. I think we are in baby equipment overload. We will both be perfectly content if we never have to enter another Babies-R-Us ever again.
JULIE AND JENNY'S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!!
My parents, Julie, and Dylan came to visit last weekend, so Julie and I were able to celebrate our Birthday's together. As always, Dylan had a blast playing with Uncle Eddie. Here he is sporting the glow in the dark jammies we got him for Halloween.
Of course we spoiled our little man with ring pops, candy corn, and tons of sweets. He loved hiding between the couch and the ottoman and riding his firetruck all around the house.
We can't wait till he comes back to visit when the baby arrives.
Hunter, Graci, MaMa, Nicki and Aunt Dee-Dee come to visit!!
This weekend MaMa, Nicki, Hunter, Graci and Aunt Dee-Dee (Kate) came to visit. Graci and I stayed at home and made pizza's while Hunter and Uncle Eddie made numerous trips to the grocery store to buy pumpkins. They learned the hard way you need to remember your wallet if you actually want to buy the pumpkins.
Here are some pictures of us carving pumpkins.
Yes, Ed is wearing an apron.
He took the whole event very seriously.
You can't tell but the one on the right says "BOO." Nicki and Graci made that one and it looked amazing. Ed and Hunter were responsible for the two other ones. The one in the middle is supposed to be angry... can't you tell?
We went to the Manasquan Inlet today to see the boats an play on the rocks. The waves were huge because a storm was coming it, but the weather was beautiful and we had a lot of fun.
Nicki and I at the Inlet. Look at that belly!!
Eight and a half months pregnant with 33 days to go, but who's counting??
Playing on the rocks.
Uncle Eddie and the kids out on the rocks. He and MaMa were very brave to go out that far.
Nicki and I just hung out on the sand.
After the rocks we headed to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out the perfect pumpkins for the kids to take home. This year we were smart and took a hayride out to field instead of walking through all the mud. It was much more fun this way!!
Hunter took the rolling technique to move his large pumpkin.
Then he realized having Uncle Eddie carry it was a much better method.
Heading home with our pumpkins.
SIDE NOTE: Although they do not appear in these pictures my parents, Julie and Kate were here over the last two weeks. We had a blast both weekends and always love visitors. Next time everyone comes to visit it will be to celebrate our little man's arrival. We cannot wait!!!
