In January we took a pretty spontaneous trip to California with Mike and Pam. When they planned the trip and asked if we wanted to go along, we never thought we could pull it off. We are so thankful that we did.
Monterey was absolutely beautiful and the food was to die for. We ate our way through town, stayed in an amazing hotel, went sight seeing and met some of the nicest people. It was exactly what Ed and I needed and we cannot wait to go on a trip like this again.
And We're Off!!
Pam was such a trooper!! Not only did she put us all to shame on the hike, but she was the most fashionable hiker out there!!

18 Years of being friends, 6 years of living together, married brothers, sister in laws, aunts to each others kiddos, and we even share the same last night. So thankful to have her in my life!!

Ed does not like heights. He was petrified that we stood on this cliff and ate lunch. After we were done eating he became brave and walked around to the other side of this rock. People were climbing all up and down the cliff below us. They were making him so nervous I think this was his attempt to stop watching them climb.
Regardless.. this is one of my favorite pictures!!
