March

March has been filled with lots of fun and lots of craziness so far.  We have continued moving boxes from the rental, and my saint of a mother has been a huge help.  ALL of our boxes were infested with stink bugs while stored in the garage at our rental.  Each box literally had 10-25 stink bugs in them.  We had to unpack, wash, and re-pack everything.  To say it's been a nightmare is an understatement.  We are almost done!!

Jackson is now completely freaked out by stink bugs and will scream anytime he sees one.  I don't blame him one bit.

So... the story behind this picture below.
When we first moved into the new house in January we decided that we really didn't have the time or money to re-do the nursery for "sissy."  It was fine how it was, and in time we would re-do it.  Well I should have known that wouldn't fly with us.  As her arrival came closer and closer we admitted we needed to do something special for her.
Ed and his mom ended up making the bumper pads for the crib and Ed (with the help of the boys) made the quilt.  We painted the room and re-used a lot of what we already had, but added some new things as well.  It is by no means done or even close to being done, but I love that everything in that nursery was made with love.

Look at Jackson's face.  He was totally freaked out by the sounds of the sewing machine.

We also found time to paint while in the bathtub.  I thought this was a great idea and the boys absolutely loved it the first time.  We tried it again and I think the novelty wore off.  There was much more screaming and throwing paint the second time around, but this night they loved it.

Of course there was more snow in March as well.

Then the sun FINALLY came out.  It's amazing what a little warm weather and some sunshine will do for your attitude.  After dinner one night this week we blew up a bounce house that our close friends gave to us.  The boys absolutely LOVED it and have been asking for us to blow it back up ever since.

And finally there is prego Mommy.  With 10 days left until my due date I have to admit I am NOT enjoying being this pregnant.  This has been by far the hardest of the three pregnancies.  I'm sure that's primarily because I have two little ones to chase around all day.  Silly little things like bending over, lifting Jackson out of his crib, getting the boys in and out of car seats, etc.  has proven to be exhausting and near impossible.  I miss having a lap for my boys to climb on, I miss being able to breath and not have little feet stuck in my ribs, and I miss being able to sleep at night without having to pee four times.
I am thankful that our baby girl (still without a name) will be here soon, and as of right now, I am not finding myself nostalgic or sad about not feeling little kicks anymore.  I am ready to have my body be mine once again, and find out what the new norm is or our family of 5.  Hopefully this is the last pregnancy picture I get to post before our little lady arrives.

That's all about March, so far!!
