Caden is 4!!

Our sweet, sensitive, polite yet opinionated little boy is FOUR today.  I know I say it every year, but time keeps going faster and faster.  Four years ago today this little boy changed our lives forever. He has taught us to be patient, flexible, understanding, and realize that the dreams and visions that we have for him may not align with his feelings on life.  He has made us realize that he will do things on his own time and that is just going to have to be ok.  Thank you for teaching us what life is all about Caden, family, love, and just enjoying time together.  We love you more everyday and are so proud of what an amazing big brother you have become.  Happy Birthday Bubba!!!

All About Caden:

Caden started going to pre-school two days a week.
He is really into Super heroes these days, and always wants to fight (pretend) bad guys with his Daddy.
He is still an extremely picky eater and has yet to consume any meat in his four years on this Earth.
Most days he loves his brother and plays very nicely with him, most days.
He loves watching Wild Kratts, Diego, Backyardigans, and recently Avatar and Spiderman.
Costumes and dressing up are another one of his favorites.
He still loves all animals, especially his safari animal figurines.
Monkey taggie and his milky are still a staple at both nap time and bed time.
Candy, donuts, and anything with icing on it is the way to his heart.
He still prefers comfy pants (sweats), but is becoming a bit more flexible about wearing jeans.
Caden promised that he would eat pizza when he was four.  We will see how that goes, but I'm not holding my breath.
