Our Dream Home

Yes, the last post was a bit negative and depressing, but this one will be completely upbeat!!

We finally did it.  We found our dream home!!! For the past three years we have had Ed's mom show us houses in PA, walk numerous pieces of land in hopes to build, review floor plans with us, and just deal with us as we were the pickiest buyers in the world.  So we owe her a huge THANK YOU, for putting up with us, and we are happy to say she is officially done showing us houses.

In looking for a house, Ed wanted a house that faced directly South for solar panels, and he wanted a significant piece of land as well.  I wanted a house in a development, preferably on a cul-de-sac.  I also wanted enough room that we could comfortably fit  for years to come, and of course I was picky about the school district.  We literally found every single thing on our checklist and even more!! We fell in love with the house the second we walked into it and were lucky enough to have our offer on the house accepted two days later.

This was what we envisioned when we started planning our move back to PA, and we can now honestly say we are moving into our dream home.  It truly is everything we ever wanted our NJ house to be (crown molding, beautiful kitchen & bathrooms, huge laundry room, wood burning fireplace finished basement, fenced in backyard, over an acre of land, etc.).  Now we just have to be patient and wait until it's time to move in.  Until then we will just stare and the pictures and enjoy our nights of actually getting some sleep.
