We have officially sent both our boys to school. Caden is in PM Kindergarten at East Hanover Elementary. His teacher is Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Molesky. He absolutely hates when it's time to go and more often then not we have tears as he's getting out of the car. At pick up though he tells us he had a great time and his day was Awesome! He swears that he plays alone at recess everyday, which breaks our hearts but there isn't much we can do. He is definitely his own person and we just have to let him explore this new adventure on his own.
Jackson has started Pre-k at Derry Discovery Days. This is where Caden went for the past two years, and we absolutely love it there. He has Miss Kristy and Miss Jamie. They were Caden's teachers last year as well. Jackson goes in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays (for now), and is so excited to get to school. On his first day he ran in the room and didn't look back. No tears, kisses, or even a goodbye. I was a bit taken back but thankful I wasn't prying him off my leg. I have a feeling Jackson is going to be more like me and love school.
